Dance Instructor

Is there any guy who has more Chicago pride than Andre? There so much loyalty and pride packed into this sports enthusiast. He loves not only his home state, the Bears and the Cubs, but Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios of Illinois. Andre joined Fred Astaire in May of 2006 after being a collegiate wrestler and cross country runner. He is now one of the top teachers this company has to offer. He has won many dance and teaching awards both regionally and nationally. He is a Fred Astaire Rising Star Rhythm and Open Rhythm finalist.Andre has a huge passion for success and strives to be the best in every aspect of his teaching and dancing. He is committed to his goals and committed to his students’ achievements.

Dance Instructor

Born and raised in the south, Leigh Ann began dancing at a young age with Ballet, Jazz and Tap.  That soon, lead her into the energetic world of cheer-leading. She later began mastering the beautiful skill of silks and aerial dance.  Because of extensive understanding of movement, balance and control in a variety of dance styles, she was quickly recruited to begin teaching adults.  Leigh Ann believes that limitations do not exist regardless of someone’s age. As a ballroom dance instructor, she carries this same belief and enjoys giving her students the confidence to achieve all of their dance dreams.

Dance Instructor

Mila is originally from Moldova. She started dancing at the early age of five and continued her professional career as an International Standard and Latin competitor for 17 years. She has competed in over 150 competitions during her career and has been a finalist and regional champion multiple times. After receiving her Masters Degree in Psychology, she chose to follow her heart pursuing a professional career in Ballroom Dance. As an instructor, Mila derives a great deal of satisfaction seeing her students achieve new heights in their dancing, whether it is a high result at a national competition or just learning a new step. She believes that dancing changes peoples’ lives and feels honored to be a part of it.

Office Manager

Sergio is originally from Mexico City and moved to Chicago in 2014. He has a degree in Communications and found that one of his passions was studying the different ways people communicate. He believes dance is an effective tool to communicate and exercise the body and mind.  He is also passionate about the arts and photography. In 2016, he worked different festivals around the city, exposing his photography to Chicago.  From your first day you step into Fred Astaire West Loop, you will always find a gentle smile from Sergio.

Training Director/Studio Owner

Kenneth has been dancing over 20 years in ballroom, ballet, modern and jazz.  Not only a dancer, he is an accomplished musician and has toured across the world as both a dancer and musician.  As the studio director, he loves guiding and advising professionals and students on how to fulfill their dreams and aspirations in all aspects of dance.
